Project Manager - Dairy

Key Responsibilities :

- Project Management: Lead the planning, execution, monitoring, and closing of dairy plant projects (new setups, expansions, automation).

- Technical Oversight: Oversee equipment selection, plant layout, utility planning, and process optimization.

- Stakeholder Coordination: Liaise with internal departments, consultants, contractors, and regulatory authorities to ensure smooth execution.

- Budget Control: Manage project budgets, cost estimation, and financial tracking to ensure on-time and within-budget delivery.

- Compliance & Quality: Ensure all projects adhere to food safety regulations, dairy industry standards, and environmental norms.

- Process Improvement: Identify and implement improvements in processing, packaging, and storage to enhance productivity and efficiency.

- Team Leadership: Lead cross-functional teams and supervise site activities, safety, timelines, and quality control.

- Reporting: Provide regular updates and MIS reports to senior management regarding project status, risks, and milestones.

Key Requirements :

- Degree in Dairy Technology (B.Tech/M.Tech or equivalent).

- 12+ years of experience in dairy or FMCG industry, with minimum 5 years in a project leadership role.

- Expertise in plant design, processing equipment, and automation for dairy products like milk, yogurt, cheese, etc.

- Strong knowledge of HACCP, GMP, ISO, and local food safety compliance.

- Experience in handling greenfield/brownfield projects in the dairy sector.

- Strong analytical, communication, and leadership skills.

- Willingness to relocate or already based in Kuwait.

Preferred Skills :

- PMP Certification is a plus.

- Experience with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle).

- Multinational or Middle East dairy/FMCG project exposure.
