- Our client, a global consulting firm, is partnering with a leading banking industry body to strengthen capabilities across multiple banks in India. This initiative focuses on elevating institutional competencies across critical themes such as credit, risk, non-financial risk (NFR), technology, digital transformation, and lending.

- As part of this ambitious sector-wide transformation, the client seeks an experienced Project Manager to drive capability benchmarking, execute targeted interventions, and support banks through structured expert sessions, workshops, and senior stakeholder engagements.

- This role offers the opportunity to shape banking standards at a national level while collaborating with diverse public and private sector stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

- Manage and execute the project alongside the consulting client, banks, and allied stakeholders to achieve defined transformation objectives

- Benchmark capabilities across multiple banks and support them in enhancing institutional performance

- Engage daily with bank teams to drive transformation initiatives through expert sessions, workshops, webinars, and in-person meetings

- Lead progress reviews and presentations with senior stakeholders, including government representatives and industry leaders

- Oversee and coordinate large internal and client teams to deliver high-quality outputs within short sprints

- Balance multiple workstreams simultaneously while ensuring alignment with strategic goals

Your Background:

- 8 to 15 years of experience in banking across diverse functions such as digital, technology, risk, operations, fraud, or lending

- Proven track record of leading teams of 10+ members

- Strong interpersonal and stakeholder management skills, with experience engaging very senior clients

- Proficiency in Excel, Smartsheet, Power BI, or Tableau

- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills

- Prior consulting experience with top firms is highly preferred

- Degree from a Tier 1 institute is ideal

- Willingness to work long hours to deliver in high-paced, outcome-oriented environments
