Project Head - Construction/Interior Design

Role Overview:

We are seeking a highly experienced Project Head to lead and manage large-scale interior design projects from concept through to handover. The ideal candidate will bring strong leadership, technical expertise, and project management skills to ensure flawless execution, client satisfaction, and timely delivery of projects while maintaining the highest standards of quality and design.

Key Responsibilities:

- Lead, plan, and manage end-to-end execution of interior design projects, ensuring alignment with client expectations and company standards.

- Develop, track, and manage project schedules, budgets, BOQs, and resource allocation for efficiency and profitability.

- Coordinate with design teams, project managers, site engineers, contractors, and vendors to ensure seamless project execution.

- Ensure strict compliance with design intent, quality benchmarks, safety standards, and project timelines.

- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, consultants, and stakeholders, ensuring clear communication and high satisfaction.

- Review and approve drawings, GFCs, BOQs, and project documentation for accuracy and feasibility.

- Conduct regular site visits, inspections, and progress review meetings to ensure adherence to project goals.

- Identify potential risks, delays, or challenges and implement proactive solutions.

- Drive value engineering, cost optimization, and resource utilization to enhance project efficiency.

- Mentor, guide, and build a strong project execution team to enable scalability and operational excellence.

- Provide periodic MIS reports, progress updates, and presentations to senior management/Managing Director.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

- 816 years of proven experience in managing large-scale interior design or fit-out projects.

- Strong knowledge of interior design processes, construction methodologies, and project management practices.

- Proficiency in reviewing and interpreting architectural drawings, GFCs, BOQs, and technical documents.

- Excellent leadership, team management, and client-handling skills.

- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities with a focus on timely project delivery.

- Familiarity with project management tools, reporting systems, and MS Office/AutoCAD.

- Exceptional communication (oral & written) and interpersonal skills.

- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously across diverse stakeholders.
