Job Title - Project Director - Treasury and Market Risk
Key responsibility areas:
- Independently lead and manage large-scale advisory consulting and system implementation engagements with leading banks, financial institutions, NBFCs, insurance companies and corporates covering areas such as Treasury, global markets, market risk, counterparty credit risk etc.
- Manage treasury engagements and projects across the end-to-end treasury lifecycle covering front, middle and back-office functions spanning asset classes such as FX, fixed-income, money market, equity, commodity and derivatives.
- Extensive knowledge in areas such as pre-deal analysis, deal booking, limit monitoring, MTM valuations, deal validation, deal settlements, counterparty credit risk, collateral management,accounting etc.
- Extensive experience in system implementation engagements covering aspects such as BRD creation, FSD review, system configuration, SIT, UAT etc.
- Demonstrate functional understanding and interface with clientele during implementation engagements.
- Lead and drive day-to-day execution of assigned client projects.
- Lead hiring and mentoring initiatives to expand and upskill execution and delivery team for treasury engagements
- Design and monitor detailed project plans for all treasury engagements
- Directly report and provide detailed updates to business unit leader for all treasury engagements on an on-going basis
- Lead pre-sales initiatives for treasury and market risk offerings

Acies is a global organization with clients and business interests across geographies. Travel for both short and long-term is expected for most roles. Specific requirements of travel for this role are as follows:
- Long-term travel (6-12 months a year) expected: Yes

Travel is dependent on nature and location of projects as well as the role of specific people on the project. Accordingly, travel requirements may change from time to time.
- Work permit requirements: Either Indian Citizen or having valid work permit to work in India
Period of engagement: Full-time position
Nature of role: Full time
- Number of years of experience expected: 8+ years
- Areas of past experience preferred: Treasury front-office, treasury middle-office, treasury-back office, market risk, counterparty credit risk, treasury system implementations and global markets
- Educational qualification expected: Graduate/ Postgraduate
- Additional qualifications/ certifications required: None
- Preferable additional certifications: CA / FRM / CQF / CFA / MBA
- Preferred geography of previous work experience: India / Europe / APAC / US
- Language requirements: Ability to write and speak fluently in English
- Application experience preferable: MS Excel, VBA, Bloomberg, Refinitiv, Kondor +, Calypso, Murex, SQL, Python and / or other leading treasury and market risk systems
