Job Description:
The job involves delivery of training and capacity building programs for international participants of election management bodies and other stakeholders.
It also involves organizing international workshops, seminars, conferences, and other such events in the field of democracy and election management.
Additionally, the role requires forging partnerships with other international organizations.
Responsibilities:
Key Responsibilities of the job include:
- Organize International Training Programs & Events Plan and execute international training programs, workshops, seminars, and conferences focused on electoral training and capacity building.
- Global Best Practices Study international best practices for delivery of training and capacity building in electoral management and adopt the same for IIIDEM.
- Build International Partnerships & MoUs Develop collaborations and partnerships with global organizations and institutions in the field of democracy and election management and EMBs.
- Foster International Cooperation & Exchange Promote institutional linkages and exchanges among stakeholders from different countries to enhance global learning.
- Implementation of Curriculum Recommendations Coordinate with subject matter experts to implement approved recommendations related to training curriculum and module development.
Skills & Competencies:
- Strong program execution skills for international participants.
- Excellent communication, teamwork, and presentation skills.
- Excellent skills in using IT platforms/tools for training.
- Ability to plan, multi-task, and manage time effectively.
- Ability to effectively delegate responsibilities to the team and ensure smooth execution.
Desirables:
- Exposure to international training.
- Experience of delivering training programs to international participants.
- Exposure to working in program management for an international organization.
- Fluency in any foreign language.
- Understanding of cross-cultural values, customs, etc.
