Job Description & Responsibilities:
The primary duties of production manager include:
- Overseeing Production: Managing the entire manufacturing workflow to ensure products are made on time, within budget, and meet quality standards.
- Team Management: Supervising, motivating, and training production staff, setting performance goals, and conducting performance reviews.
- Quality Control: Implementing and enforcing quality standards and controlling programs to ensure product excellence.
- Process Optimization: Identifying opportunities to improve processes, reduce costs, and increase productivity, such as through lean manufacturing.
- Health & Safety: Ensuring compliance with all health and safety guidelines and maintaining a safe work environment.
- Equipment Maintenance: Taking responsibility for the maintenance and repair of production machinery.
- Reporting: Collating and analyzing production data, preparing performance reports for management.
- Coordination: Liaising with other departments to ensure smooth, efficient production
