Job Purpose:

The job role entails leading the development and management of savings product. Would be responsible for entire product life cycle management including product launches, upgrades and withdrawals.

Roles & Responsibilities:

- Ensure development of best-in-class value propositions for the existing savings product customers and to achieve future customer acquisition targets (please provide detail e.g., 1 year target)

- Lead and direct the savings product & portfolio heads by providing strategic input and plans for conceptualizing the product offerings and managing the overall portfolio quality.

- Envisage robust data driven marketing plans (campaigns & communication initiatives) for each identified liability product and ensure undertaking of sales enablement/effectiveness activities to achieve customer acquisition targets.

- Oversee the successful adoption and compliance of KYC & service framework across the channels (branch, digital, cross sell) for savings products.

- Develop a branch process and control strategy that ensures fulfilment of high-quality customer services while being in adherence to internal/regulatory requirements.

Secondary Responsibilities:

- Grow the savings product portfolio by leveraging new channels (e.g., digital platforms) and ensuring delivery of high-quality customer journeys across the acquisitions, service, and deepening phases.

- Launch new products/redesign existing products based on market intelligence (market projections, customer analytics, competitor benchmarking etc.) and in alignment with the bank's growth/profitability objectives.

- Manage the design of the Business Process Architecture (BPA) for the branch banking (branch launch, customer on boarding, regulatory, internal compliances etc.) and ensure alignment across the branch banking footprint through internal audits and educational activities.

- Champion the delivery of 360-degree solutioning and troubleshooting for branch banking processes to ensure delivery of highest quality customer service.

- Oversee all the training for the Branch staff on the systems, processes & policies.

- Collaborate with the Heads of Retail Asset Products and Cross Sell to leverage customer base and enable cross sell activities.

- Oversee vendor management activities across savings product and branch control activities and maintain relationships with key vendors.

Managerial & Leadership Responsibilities:

- Champion the XXX Bank customer centric culture by driving the team to take up high degree servicing norms to ensure absolute customer delight.

- Mentor and coach senior team members to percolate ethos of customer centricity, innovation, compliance, and integrity.

- Champion the use of big data analytics to power up propositions to the liabilities customers and acquire them.

- Attract and retain best-in-class talent for key roles in their reporting structure.

- Monitor key parameters on employee productivity, hiring quality and attrition rates and make necessary improvements.

Education Qualifications: Preferably Engineering & MBA Graduate (Tier 1, 1.5 & 2 campus)

Experience: 7 - 10 years of relevant experience
