As a Product Delivery Manager you are responsible for overseeing the deployment and integration of a software product for clients.

The role ensures that the software meets customer needs, is properly configured, and functions smoothly within the client's existing systems.

As a Delivery Manager for our software product you are responsible for ensuring that we deliver the products on time, within budget, and according to quality standards.

You are responsible for planning, executing, and overseeing the successful deployment of our Procure to Pay and Travel Expense Management Solution for clients.

Key Responsibilities:

Project Planning & Preparation:

- Define goals and objectives based on business needs.

- Establish a project timeline, budget, and scope.

- Project Management and Budget Management.

- Plan and coordinate software implementation timelines and milestones.

- Manage resources and teams to ensure timely delivery.

- Communicate with stakeholders to set expectations.

- Facilitate Scrum ceremonies (stand-ups, sprint planning, retrospectives).

- Ensure teams follow Agile best practices and maintain a steady delivery pace.

- Remove impediments to keep teams productive.

- Act as the primary point of contact for clients and stakeholders.

- Set expectations and ensure alignment between business and technical teams.

- Provide regular status updates and reports.


- Manage project budgets and resources efficiently.

- Ensure projects are delivered within cost constraints.

- Optimize team utilization and reduce waste.

- Client Engagement & Requirement Gathering / Process Mapping.

- Work closely with clients to understand their requirements.

- Provide training, documentation, and ongoing support.

- Address customer concerns and troubleshoot issues.

- Analyze existing workflows and identify gaps.

- Find solutions to avoid customizations.

- Define integration solutions.

- Software Configuration & Integration.

- Customize software settings to align with client workflows.

- Ensure compatibility with existing systems.

- Work with developers to resolve technical challenges.

- Testing & Quality Assurance.

- Conduct user acceptance testing (UAT).

- Identify and fix issues before full deployment.

Data Migration.

- Extract, clean, and validate existing data from legacy systems.

- Conduct test migrations to ensure data accuracy.

- Testing & Quality Assurance.

- Ensure the software meets quality standards before release.

- Implement best practices for testing, security, and compliance.

- Conduct post-mortem reviews to improve future deliveries.

- Perform system testing, unit testing, and user acceptance testing (UAT).

- Identify and resolve bugs, compatibility issues, and workflow gaps.

- Validate security, performance, and compliance requirements.

Training & Change Management.

- Develop training materials and conduct workshops for employees.

- Address user concerns and resistance to change.

- Implement a helpdesk or support system for ongoing queries.

- Deployment & Go-Live.

- Decide on phased rollout vs. big bang implementation.

- Monitor system performance and resolve post-go-live issues.

- Ensure a smooth transition with backup plans and contingency measures.

- Post-Implementation Support & Optimization.

- Gather user feedback and optimize workflows.

- Provide hyper care, monitor system performance and apply updates.

- Team Coordination & People Management.

- Manage cross-functional teams (developers, testers, DevOps, designers, etc.

- Foster a collaborative and high-performance work environment.

- Support team members by providing guidance, coaching, and motivation.

- Commercial Milestones and Invoicing.

- Ensure commercial milestones are met, billed and paid on time.

- Ensure that contract terms are clarified and managed with the client and teams to ensure project cashflows on time.

- Tie invoices to clear deliverables or project phases.

- Ensure deliverables are approved before issuing invoices.

- Maintain documentation for any change requests that impact billing.

- Work with the internal Finance team to ensure timely billing.

Key Experience we are looking for.

- Project Management (Agile, Scrum, Waterfall, Kanban).

- Strong Communication & Leadership.

- Technical Knowledge (Product Implementation, Integration, Data Uploading, Business Requirement Gathering, Cloud Deployment).

- Risk & Issue Management.

- Change Management & Training.

- Stakeholder Engagement & Negotiation.

- Budgeting & Resource Allocation.

- Minimum 15 years experience in software product delivery is essential.
