Role Overview

- A leading healthcare Organization is seeking a dynamic and results-driven Procurement Leader to build and scale procurement practices that directly impact healthcare accessibility across India. This role will be responsible for driving sourcing strategy, vendor development, contract negotiations, and cost optimization across multiple categories. The Procurement Leader will drive financial discipline while fostering innovation and agility across the business.

The ideal candidate will bring an entrepreneurial mindset, exceptional stakeholder management, and a data-driven approach to procurement strategy.

Key Attributes

- Entrepreneurial Mindset: Ability to hustle, identify new models (e.g., aggregator partnerships, shared diagnostics infrastructure), and build scalable sourcing frameworks.-

- Stakeholder Management: Proven ability to build rapport and influence across CXOs, lab owners, and internal tech/product stakeholders.-

- Data-Driven Thinking: Uses analytics and dashboards to drive sourcing decisions and performance metrics.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Sourcing & Procurement

- Develop and execute end-to-end procurement strategies aligned with overall business objectives.-

- Lead sourcing across key spend categories such as technology, healthcare services, marketing, facilities, and corporate support.

- Foster supplier partnerships that support scale, quality, innovation, and service excellence.

Vendor Management

- Identify, evaluate, negotiate with, and onboard vendors including labs, doctors, hospitals, and diagnostic partners.

- Conduct regular performance reviews and ensure adherence to quality, financial, and operational standards.

- Drive vendor expansion into new geographies while maintaining compliance with applicable regulatory norms.

Negotiations & Contracts

- Lead commercial negotiations to secure optimal pricing and terms that maximize value.-

- Collaborate with Finance and Legal teams on contract structuring, risk mitigation, and governance frameworks.

Cost Optimization & Compliance

- Implement cost-saving initiatives while ensuring consistent service quality.- Establish procurement policies, controls, and reporting systems aligned with audit and compliance requirements.

Stakeholder Collaboration

- Serve as a strategic partner to cross-functional teams including Technology, Operations, HR, and Marketing.-

- Work closely with Finance for budgeting, forecasting, and optimizing payment terms.-

- Promote procurement best practices and drive continuous improvement across the organization.
