Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly experienced and results-driven Procurement Lead to manage our Non-IT procurement operations.
This is an individual contributor role, requiring a professional with a strong background in the end-to-end procurement lifecycle.
The ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker with proven skills in vendor management, negotiations, and compliance.
This role is critical in ensuring our procurement processes are efficient, cost-effective, and aligned with company goals while maintaining the highest standards of quality and ethical practices.
Key Responsibilities:
- End-to-End Procurement Management: Manage the complete procurement process for all non-IT goods and services, including sourcing, requisition, purchase order creation, and vendor payment.
Vendor Strategy and Management:
- Identify, evaluate, and onboard new vendors based on business requirements, quality standards, and cost-effectiveness.
- Conduct rigorous and effective vendor negotiations to secure favorable terms, optimize costs, and achieve significant savings.
- Build and nurture strong, long-term relationships with key vendors to ensure reliability, timely delivery, and smooth operational flows.
Compliance and Risk Management:
- Ensure strict compliance with all company policies, legal regulations, and internal audit guidelines.
- Maintain meticulous documentation for all procurement activities, ensuring an auditable trail.
Performance Tracking and Reporting:
- Develop and monitor key procurement metrics (e.g., cost savings, cycle time, vendor performance).
- Generate and present regular reports to management, providing clear insights into procurement performance and strategic opportunities.
Cross-Functional Collaboration:
- Partner closely with various internal departments, including Finance, Operations, and specific business units, to understand their procurement needs and align strategies with organizational objectives.
Process Improvement:
- Continuously identify opportunities to enhance procurement processes through automation, best practices, and innovative sourcing strategies to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or MBA in Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
- Minimum of 7 years of hands-on experience in a procurement role, with a strong focus on Non-IT goods and services.
- Demonstrated expertise in end-to-end procurement processes and vendor lifecycle management.
- Exceptional negotiation and communication skills.
- Strong analytical abilities and a data-driven approach to decision-making.
- Knowledge of procurement software and enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems.
- High level of integrity and a solid understanding of ethical procurement practices
