We are seeking a highly experienced and strategic Procurement Consultant to join our Public Sector team.

The ideal candidate will have extensive hands-on experience in managing end-to-end procurement cycles, with a strong focus on large-scale government projects.

This role is crucial for advising our public sector clients on best practices in procurement, ensuring transparency, efficiency, and compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

1) Procurement Advisory: Provide expert consulting services to state and central government clients on all aspects of the procurement lifecycle, from initial planning to contract closure.

2) Tender Management: Lead and manage the entire tender process, including the preparation of bidding documents (RFP/RFQ/EoI), technical specifications, and evaluation criteria.

3) Bid Process Management: Oversee and facilitate the bid submission and evaluation process, ensuring fairness, transparency, and adherence to all regulatory guidelines.

4) Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all procurement activities are in full compliance with government procurement policies and guidelines (e., GFR, GeM, World Bank/ADB guidelines).

5) Stakeholder Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders within government departments, public sector undertakings, and other relevant bodies.

6) Project Delivery: Work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality, impactful projects on time and within budget.

Desired Profile:

- Education: An MBA/PG in Management or a Postgraduate degree in a relevant field from a reputed institution.

- Experience: Minimum of 10 years of overall professional experience. A minimum of 8 years of specific experience in procurement, tender management, and bid process management.

- Skills & Competencies: Proven expertise in government procurement processes and public financial management.

- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills.

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex concepts clearly to senior government officials.

Consultancy experience with state and central government clients is highly preferred
