Roles and Responsibilities
Process Excellence (60%)
- Design, document, and optimize key operational workflows to reduce inefficiencies and enhance scalability.
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives using Lean, Six Sigma, and Kaizen methodologies.
- Identify process bottlenecks in supply chain, warehousing, order fulfillment, and customer service.
- Work closely with internal teams (product, logistics, customer service) to streamline coordination and SOPs.
- Develop and implement performance metrics and quality control standards across operations.
Operations Analysis (40%)
- Analyze operations and supply chain data to identify trends, forecast demand, and optimize stock levels.
- Prepare dashboards and reports to track KPIs such as order fulfillment time, return rates, shipping accuracy, and cost per order.
- Perform root cause analysis on operational issues and provide actionable recommendations.
- Partner with the finance and marketing teams to align operations strategy with business goals.
- Evaluate performance across marketplace platforms (Amazon, Flipkart, Nykaa) and suggest optimization strategies.
Pre-requisites
1. Strong operational knowledge across warehouse operations
2. Prior experience managing warehouse operations in an FMCG, e-commerce, or D2C setup
3. Hands-on familiarity with WMS systems, Excel, and inventory control systems
4. Proven ability to manage teams, vendors, and coordinate across cross-functional departments
5. Strong problem-solving, documentation, and reporting skills
