About the role:
The organization is seeking a highly motivated and experienced professional to join their team as a Private Equity Fundraising Manager. The ideal candidate will play a critical role in capital raising, investor relations, and business development. This position requires strong financial acumen, relationship management skills, and a deep understanding of the private equity landscape.
1. Fundraising & Capital Formation:
- Develop and execute fundraising strategies to attract domestic institutional investors, family offices, and high-net-worth individuals (HNWIs).
- Manage investor due diligence, including preparation of pitch decks, private placement memorandums (PPMs), and data room management.
- Help manage relationships with prospective Limited Partners (LPs), including pension funds, endowments, foundations, and sovereign wealth funds.
- Assist in structuring and negotiating fund terms, working closely with legal and compliance teams.
2. Investor Relations & Reporting:
- Act as the primary point of contact for potential domestic investors, addressing inquiries and providing regular fund performance updates.
- Prepare and deliver investor presentations, quarterly reports, and market insights.
- Organize investor meetings, roadshows, and networking events to strengthen relationships.
- Maintain CRM databases to track investor engagement and fundraising progress.
3. Market Research & Business Development:
- Conduct market research to identify trends, competitor activities, and emerging investment opportunities.
- Collaborate with deal teams to align fundraising efforts with investment strategy.
- Develop thought leadership content and contribute to investor communications.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, Economics, or a related field. MBA or CFA preferred.
- Experience: 7-10 years of experience in private equity fundraising, wealth management, investor relations, or capital markets.
Skills & Competencies:
- Strong understanding of private equity fund structures, investment strategies, and LP expectations.
- Exceptional communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Proven ability to build and maintain relationships with institutional investors.
- Proficiency in fund due diligence and fund marketing materials.
- Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented, fast-paced environment.
