Principal Officer - Private Credit - Gift City

About:

- Role Key role of origination, underwriting and investments

- Secondary role of post investment monitoring and exits

- Location: Base of operations GIFT City, Ahmedabad

- Domestic travel expected for coverage and sourcing

- Experience Experience in special situations credit, commercial banking,

- Contributing to deal origination and sourcing

- Building market connects and developing strong coverage universe for special situation credit opportunities.

- Maintaining relationships with commercial banks, investment bankers and other peer participants in the special situations credit space

- Leading investments end to end including deal evaluation, diligence, analysis, transaction structuring, execution, documentation, and deal closures.

- Preparing and reviewing financial models, investment memorandum and other deal collateral

- Preparing memos / presentations as needed

- Reviewing investments and portfolio and periodic financial updates for internal consumption and for investors

- Post investment investee/promoter relationship management, covenant tracking and overall portfolio management

- Supporting team in operations including regulatory, audit, finance, other compliances as necessary; liasoning with both internal and external parties to ensure smooth workflow.

- Ability to have strong network formal/ informal for deal sourcing.

- Analytical mind-set for identifying opportunities through secondary research.

- Good communication skills with proficiency in client interactions and interface

- Proficiency in MS Excel and financial modelling

- Industry knowledge and relationships among intermediaries, banks, and consultants
