Principal Officer - Gift City

Key Responsibilities:

Regulatory Compliance and Liaison:

- Serve as the primary point of contact with the International Financial Services Centres Authority (IFSCA) and other regulatory bodies to ensure adherence to all applicable regulations.

- Stay abreast of evolving regulations within GIFT City, proactively identifying potential impacts on the organization and implementing necessary compliance measures.

- Oversee the timely and accurate submission of all regulatory filings and reports, collaborating closely with the Compliance Officer.

Research and Analysis:

- Lead and contribute to in-depth financial research projects, providing actionable insights to support strategic decision-making.

- Develop and maintain proprietary investment models, screeners, and dashboards to monitor market trends and identify opportunities.

- Collaborate with the investment team to enhance portfolio strategies and performance through rigorous analysis.

Governance and Process Development:

- Participate in the Investment Committee, ensuring robust governance structures and processes are in place for fund operations.

- Design and implement operational procedures to ensure the efficient functioning of the GIFT City office, aligning with organizational standards and regulatory requirements.

- Coordinate interactions with the Board, Audit Committee, and other internal committees, facilitating effective communication and decision-making.

Stakeholder Engagement:

- Act as the liaison between the GIFT City office and the Head Office, ensuring alignment of objectives and seamless information flow.

- Engage with external stakeholders, including auditors, legal advisors, and industry associations, representing the organization's interests and fostering collaborative relationships.

Qualifications:

Educational Background:

- Post-graduate degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field from a recognized institution.

- Professional certifications such as Chartered Accountant (CA), Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA), or Company Secretary (CS) are highly desirable.

Experience:

- Minimum of 5 years of experience in financial research, investment analysis, or a related field within the securities market or financial services industry.

- Demonstrated experience in regulatory compliance, preferably within the context of GIFT City or similar financial centers.
