PRIMUS - Trade Compliance Analyst

Responsibilities:


- Conduct thorough Denied Parties Screening (DPS) on customers, vendors, and other business partners.


- Perform meticulous OFAC (Office of Foreign Assets Control) Sanction Screenings to ensure compliance with US sanctions and embargoes.


- Execute comprehensive Restricted Party Screenings (RPS) against various government and international lists.


- Conduct screenings against the BIS (Bureau of Industry and Security) Entity List.


- Utilize SAP GTS (Global Trade Services) RPL (Restricted Party List) Screenings to manage and monitor restricted parties within our SAP system.


- Utilize SAP GTS DPL (Denied Parties List) Screenings to ensure adherence to denied parties regulations within SAP GTS.


- Apply in-depth knowledge of US export compliance, including regulations and best practices.


- Maintain a strong understanding of Sanctions and Embargoes specific to international trade.


- Demonstrate a solid understanding of Export Administration Regulations (EAR) and International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR).


- Apply exposure to Export Classification (ECCN) to ensure accurate classification of goods and technologies.


- Utilize expertise to understand complex trade regulations and apply legal regulations and interpretations effectively.


- Apply practical knowledge of the US/EU Sanctions regime within an MNC environment, specifically dealing with order screening or review for sanctions and denied parties.


- Document screening processes, findings, and resolutions accurately and efficiently.


- Assist in the development and maintenance of internal compliance policies and procedures related to trade.


- Support internal audits and compliance reviews related to export controls and sanctions.


- Stay updated on changes in US and international trade regulations and sanctions.


- Collaborate with internal stakeholders (e.g., Sales, Logistics, Legal) to ensure compliance throughout the order processing and shipment lifecycle.


Mandatory Skills:


- Minimum of 3 to 5 years of hands-on experience in trade compliance.


- Proven expertise in Denied Parties Screening (DPS).


- Proven expertise in OFAC Sanction Screenings.


- Proven expertise in Restricted Party Screenings (RPS).


- Proven expertise in BIS Entity List Screenings.


- Experience with SAP GTS RPL Screenings.


- Experience with SAP GTS DPL Screenings.


- Strong US export compliance knowledge.


- Thorough knowledge of Sanctions and Embargoes specific to trade sanctions.


- Thorough knowledge of Export Administration Regulations (EAR).


- Thorough knowledge of International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR).


- Exposure to Export Classification (ECCN).


- Demonstrated expertise in understanding trade regulations and applying legal regulations and interpretations.


- Practical knowledge of the US/EU Sanctions regime and experience working in an MNC company

dealing with order screening or review for sanctions or denied parties screening.


Qualifications:


- Bachelor's degree in International Trade, Business Administration, Legal Studies, or a related field.


- Relevant certifications in trade compliance (e.g., Certified Export Specialist) are a plus.
