The President Operations
The President - Operations will be responsible for leading and optimizing the end-to-end operations of the company, including manufacturing, supply chain, distribution, procurement, and quality assurance. The role requires a strategic leader with strong operational expertise and a proven track record in scaling operations within the FMCG industry. The President will play a key role in achieving the companys growth and profitability goals while maintaining operational excellence.
Responsibilities
Strategic Leadership
- Develop and execute operational strategies aligned with business goals.
- Collaborate with the CEO and executive team to set long-term plans.
- Drive operational scalability for product expansion and market penetration.
Manufacturing & Supply Chain
- Oversee production planning, manufacturing efficiency, and capacity utilization.
- Ensure end-to-end supply chain optimization from raw material procurement to product delivery.
- Maintain high standards of quality, safety, and compliance across facilities.
Logistics & Distribution
- Streamline distribution networks to enhance speed-to-market.
- Optimize last-mile delivery and inventory management.
Cost & Efficiency Management
- Drive cost-reduction initiatives without compromising quality.
- Implement lean manufacturing and Six Sigma practices.
Technology & Innovation
- Lead the adoption of technology and automation in operations.
- Implement ERP and SCM systems to enhance operational visibility.
Team Leadership
- Build and lead a high-performing operations team.
- Set performance goals, monitor KPIs, and ensure continuous improvement.
Stakeholder Management
- Maintain strong relationships with suppliers, distributors, and regulatory bodies.
- Represent the company in strategic partnerships and negotiations.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering from a Premiere Institute alongwith MBA preferred.
- 18-25 years of progressive experience in operations within FMCG, including 5+ years in a senior leadership role.
- Proven track record of leading complex operations across multiple geographies.
- Expertise in manufacturing, supply chain management, logistics, and distribution.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management abilities.
