President - Contracts & Procurement
Key Responsibilities:
Contracts Management- Lead the drafting, negotiation, and management of all contractual agreements (consultancy, construction, vendors, lease, JV, and service agreements).
- Ensure all contracts are in line with legal, regulatory, and business requirements.
- Oversee contract lifecycle from initiation to close-out, including amendments, renewals, and terminations.
- Establish and maintain standard contract templates and processes.
Procurement Strategy & Execution- Develop and implement procurement policies, procedures, and strategies aligned with business goals.
- Manage end-to-end procurement for CAPEX and OPEX in real estate (e.g., construction materials, services, FF&E, consultants).
- Ensure transparent vendor selection, tendering, and bidding processes.
- Lead cost control initiatives and ensure value-for-money procurement.
Vendor Management- Build and maintain strong supplier relationships, ensure compliance with SLAs and KPIs.
- Evaluate and prequalify vendors based on quality, cost, delivery, and compliance.
- Resolve disputes and negotiate claims with suppliers and contractors.
Team Leadership- Lead and mentor a team of procurement and contracts professionals.
- Promote cross-functional collaboration with legal, finance, project management, and operations.
Compliance & Risk Mitigation- Ensure adherence to local laws, company policies, and ethical procurement standards.
- Identify and mitigate contractual and procurement-related risks across all real estate projects.
