What You'll Do:
Discovery & Needs Analysis: Engage with prospective clients to understand their business challenges, technical requirements, and strategic objectives through in-depth discovery sessions.
Solution Articulation: Clearly articulate the value proposition of our products/solutions, demonstrating how they address client pain points and deliver tangible business benefits.
Product Demonstrations: Conduct compelling and tailored product demonstrations, presentations, and workshops for diverse audiences, from technical teams to C-level executives.
Technical Expertise: Provide technical expertise during the sales cycle, answering detailed questions, addressing concerns, and ensuring the proposed solution aligns with client architecture and needs.
Proposal Development: Collaborate with the sales team to develop comprehensive proposals, RFPs/RFQs, and SOWs, ensuring technical accuracy and alignment with client requirements.
Proof of Concept (PoC) / Pilot Support: Support the execution of Proof of Concepts (PoCs) or pilot programs, ensuring successful technical validation and demonstrating solution capabilities.
Competitive Analysis: Stay updated on industry trends, competitive landscape, and new technologies to effectively position our solutions against competitors.
Collaboration: Work closely with sales managers, product development, delivery teams, and marketing to provide feedback from the field and ensure a cohesive go-to-market strategy.
Thought Leadership: Act as a subject matter expert, contributing to webinars, whitepapers, and industry events as needed.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
Experience:
- 3-8 years of experience in a Pre-Sales, Sales Engineering, Solutions Architect, or similar client-facing technical role, preferably within [mention your industry, e.g., SaaS, Enterprise Software, IT Services].
- Technical Acumen: Strong understanding of [mention relevant technology stack, e.g., cloud technologies (AWS/Azure/GCP), software development methodologies, data analytics platforms, specific product category you sell].
- Problem-Solving: Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to quickly grasp complex technical concepts and articulate solutions simply.
- Communication: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with proven ability to present technical information clearly and persuasively to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Presentation Skills: Demonstrated ability to create and deliver engaging presentations and product demonstrations.
- Client Relationship Building: Strong interpersonal skills with a natural ability to build rapport and trust with clients.
- Business Acumen: Good understanding of business processes and ability to connect technical solutions to business value.
- Self-Motivation: Highly self-motivated, proactive, and capable of working independently as well as collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Travel: Willingness to travel as required for client meetings and industry events (if applicable to your role).
Preferred Skills (Nice-to-Have):
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or a related technical field.
