
Job Summary:
- We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Business Development Manager (BDM) with a strong background in the IT industry.
- The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in identifying business opportunities, building client relationships, and driving revenue growth for IT services and solutions.
- This role requires a blend of strategic thinking, technical understanding, and excellent communication skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement a strategic business development plan to achieve sales targets and expand the customer base.
- Identify new business opportunities in domestic and international markets across IT services, software solutions, and digital transformation offerings.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers (CXOs, Directors, IT Heads).
- Conduct market research to understand industry trends, customer needs, and competitor landscape.
- Prepare and present business proposals, solution pitches, and product demos to prospective clients.
- Collaborate with pre-sales, technical, and delivery teams to ensure client requirements are met effectively.
- Participate in bidding processes (RFPs/RFIs), contract negotiations, and closure of deals.
- Attend industry events, conferences, and networking sessions to promote company offerings. Maintain CRM tools (e. , Salesforce, HubSpot) to track leads, opportunities, and follow-ups.
- Provide regular sales forecasts, pipeline updates, and progress reports to senior management.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, IT, or a related field (MBA preferred).
- 5-7 years of experience in business development or sales, specifically in the IT industry (e. , software services, consulting, cloud, enterprise solutions).
- Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets.
- Strong knowledge of the IT landscape, including cloud computing, SaaS, digital solutions, and enterprise technology trends.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Familiarity with CRM software and sales analytics tools
