Lead- Platforms (R&D) || Farm Equipment || North India

The Platform Leader will be responsible for ensuring the growth and competitiveness of the product platform. This role is responsible to deliver customer value, cost efficiency, and compliance, while continuously evolving to meet future market and technology needs. The incumbent will collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline projects delivery, optimize performance, and achieve QCD goals.

Key Responsibilities:

Platform Lifecycle Management:

- Oversee the end-to-end platform lifecycle, from ideation to new product introduction, mid-life upgrades, cost down programs.

- Ensures competitive benchmarking and address gaps proactively.

- Identify opportunities for new capabilities or product enhancements.

- Manage a diverse portfolio of products.

- Ensure platform compliance with internal standards and regulatory requirements

Team Leadership & Collaboration:

- Lead cross-functional teams to deliver projects, ensuring collaboration across R&D, Testing, QA, Manufacturing and Sourcing.

- Ensure early involvement of stakeholders in design, testing and evaluation of key attributes.

- Act as a single point owner for all platform related decisions and trade-offs.

- Mentor and develop team members to drive high performance and accountability.

Business Impact & Operational Efficiency:

- Deliver performance metrics, ensuring platform meet Quality, Time, Cost and budget targets.

- Drive cost optimization in product development without compromising quality.

- Ensure efficient budget allocation and manage financial performance.

Stakeholder Communication:

- Provide regular updates to senior leadership on platform progress, risks, and opportunities.

- Ensure alignment with business objectives through effective communication.
