Position Title: Plant Head.

Department: Operations.

Function: Operations.

Reports to: Director - BD & Operations.

Location: Gurgaon.

Salary: Not a Limiting a factor for the Disserving candidates.

Role Overview:

- The Plant Head is responsible for the overall operations of the plant, encompassing production, supply chain management, maintenance, and plant-related HR initiatives.

- The role ensures 100% production output while maintaining quality standards and achieving business targets.

Key Responsibilities:

- Lead and motivate the operations team to achieve sales and revenue growth targets.

- Oversee daily production tasks, work scheduling, training, maintenance, and continuous improvement initiatives.

- Manage new production lines and plant expansion projects.

- Execute cost-saving initiatives to drive business growth.

- Ensure timely execution of new programs as per customer commitments.

- Foster strong customer relationships through regular visits and satisfaction assessments.

- Drive a performance-oriented culture while implementing problem-solving methodologies for continuous improvement.

- Align production plans with sales plans to meet operational efficiency.

- Conduct capability studies and process optimization initiatives.

- Review and approve component designs, drawings, and material selections to enhance production efficiency.

- Lead cross-functional teams in new product development, trials, and line proving.

- Ensure a safe and compliant work environment within the plant.

- Provide necessary resources and support to the team to achieve plant targets.

- Foster positive employee relations and adherence to company policies and safety standards.

- Implement and drive initiatives like TPM, Lean Manufacturing, KAIZEN, and SES.

- Handle labor-related issues and ensure compliance with legal and statutory requirements.

- Promote a QRQC (Quick Response Quality Control) culture at the plant.

- Mentor team members for professional growth and succession planning.

Key Competencies & Skills:

- Strong knowledge of injection molding processes, filter, and air cooling products.

- Expertise in IATF 16949, OHSAS, EMS, Six Sigma, Lean Manufacturing, TPM, VDA, FTA, PPAP, FMEA, SPC.

- Strong accountability and ownership of responsibilities.

- Ability to deliver outputs within prescribed time, cost, and quality standards.

- Effective leadership in compliance with organizational regulations and rules.

- Proactive support and oversight for subordinates and delegated assignments.

- Commitment to personal and team growth.

Qualification & Experience:

- Educational Qualification: CIPET (UG)

- Experience: 10-15 years of relevant experience, with at least 5 years in an operations head role in a reputed organization.

- Certifications: Preferably a Black Belt in Six Sigma.

- Preferred Industry Experience: Injection molding, filter/air cooling product manufacturing.
