Plant Business Analyst

Analyzes plant operations to identify inefficiencies, propose solutions, and improve overall performance by bridging the gap between business needs and technical implementation.

Key Responsibilities:

- Process Analysis: Analyze plant processes, identify bottlenecks, and areas for improvement.

- Requirement Gathering: Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business needs and translate them into functional requirements.

- Data Analysis: Collect, analyze, and interpret data to identify trends, patterns, and insights.

- Solution Design: Develop and propose solutions to address identified problems, including process improvements and technology implementations.

- Documentation: Create and maintain documentation of business requirements, processes, and solutions.

- Communication: Communicate findings, recommendations, and project updates to stakeholders and management.

- Implementation Support: Assist with the implementation of new processes and systems, ensuring they meet business needs.

- Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for ongoing optimization and process improvement.

- Testing and Validation: Participate in testing and validating new systems and processes.

Qualification And Experience:

1. BE with 2-4 years' experience in plant business analysis or a related field.

2. Exceptional analytical and conceptual thinking skills.

3. The ability to influence stakeholders and work closely with them to determine acceptable solutions.

4. Excellent documentation skills.

5. Knowledge of relevant plant processes, systems, and technologies is important.

6. A strong understanding of business processes and objectives is crucial.

7. Experience creating detailed reports and giving presentations.

8. Familiarity with project management methodologies is helpful.

9. Experience with data analysis tools and techniques is a plus.

10. Competency in Microsoft applications including Word, Excel, Visio, Axure etcetera.

11. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are needed to effectively collaborate with stakeholders
