Job Description:

The Area Field Marketing Manager - Sealants will be responsible for leading and managing the sealants business development team across Karnataka, Kerala, and Tamil Nadu, focusing on driving market penetration, managing field teams, gathering market insights, and ensuring strong adoption of sealants products.

Key Responsibilities:

- Manage a Business Development Team of 8 members in Sealants across the designated region.

- Ensure structured induction of new joiners into BDE-Sealants roles as per the Induction Module.

- Conduct regular training programs for BDE-Sealants, TSIs, TSRs, and BDE-Adhesives on new and existing modules.

- Conduct periodic performance reviews of BDE-Sealants and track performance against key business indicators.

- Recruit and onboard high-potential talent to fill vacant positions in the team.

- Gather market insights related to dealers, users, and competition through field interactions.

- Provide timely and meaningful product, trial, and module feedback based on contractor visits, competition analysis, and field events.

- Conduct business reviews using OAAP tools as per index standards.

- Engage with adopted contractors twice every quarter to educate them about the product range and gather actionable insights.

- Track and improve the performance of SA class adopted dealers (direct dealers/NCDs/ECDs).

- Identify town-wise user sufficiency gaps and drive mapping activities by the BDE-sealants team.

- Ensure strong relationship-building activities with key users and contractors to enhance brand connection.

- Implement segment-wise market development modules through 1-on-1 and group meets across ACP, glass, aluminium, and uPVC contractors.

- Ensure successful execution of "Paathsaala" meets in collaboration with FMM/Agency.

- Drive demand generation activities for exception territories and products to boost market share.

Skill Sets Required:

- Strong people management and leadership skills.

- Excellent communication skills in Malayalam, English, Kannada / Tamil.

- Good analytical skills to interpret market trends and competition.

- Ability to train, mentor, and develop field teams.

- Sound knowledge of field marketing and sales strategies.

- Hands-on experience in adoption and performance tracking of dealers and contractors.

- Ability to work independently in field conditions across Karnataka, Kerala, and Tamil Nadu.

- Proficient in preparing business reports and insights using OAAP and other tools.

- Result-oriented with a strong focus on demand generation.

- Strong interpersonal skills to build relations with contractors, dealers, and internal teams.
