PICO Capital Pvt. Ltd. is a Mumbai based finance company, operating as a registered NBFC. We are a Family Office with investments in a range of asset classes: stocks, bonds, real estate, structured products, and alternatives. Position Summary:

We are seeking a deeply motivated individual who is passionate about buy-side investment research. The individual will be part of and lead a team of analysts and will be tasked with assessing investment proposals across a range of asset classes - equities, fixed income, commodities, real estate, alternate investments/structured products. The main objective for the individual will be to better returns on existing portfolio, initiate new ideas within investment framework and guide the capital allocation endeavor of the company as per risk policy.

Job Description:

- Conduct in-depth quantitative and qualitative analysis of investment proposals.

- Develop and maintain financial models.

- Perform comprehensive industry research, identify opportunities and prepare detailed reports and presentations.

- Track corporate announcements, media updates and current policies, assessing their impact on existing equities and fixed-income portfolios.

- Lead team of analysts to ensure efficient equity research, conduct weekly meetings, assign tasks, and review performance.

- Limited coordination on transactions related to the back office.

- Provide MIS reports to senior management.

Candidate Profile:

- CFA/CA/MBA (Finance)

- Minimum 10 years of work experience in investment research in equities with foundational skills for fixed income.

- Passion for generating alpha.

- Well informed about different asset classes and macro issues, with a conceptual understanding of important technical terms.

- A deep interest and aptitude for analyzing financial information, strategic issues, and trends that affect companies, industries, and markets on a regional and global scale.

- Proficient in Excel, familiar with financial modeling & valuation methods.

- Strong in accounting and investing concepts.

- To lead and guide analysts in the team.

- Good written and oral communication skills and the ability to provide & defend an opinion with management.

Requirements:

- Mumbai based candidates will be preferred. (Inclination towards ones residing within 30kms of Pico office).

- Candidate must mention their last drawn CTC.

- Work from office is a must, need to commute to the office daily. If not feasible kindly do not apply.

- The notice period should not be more than 60 days.
