JOB TITLE: Financial Modeller
JOB LOCATION Lagos, Nigeria
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Build financial Model in excel based on historical information and other available industry specific operating metrics
- conducting scenario analysis based on microeconomics and macroeconomic factors to access business risk
- Evaluate prospective projects/business using various financial valuation methods, such as DCF, NPV, IRR, Capital structure analysis, comparable company analysis etc.
- Recommend and implement process improvement measures
- Identify key financial and non-financial risks and advise mitigants for those risks.
- Conduct scenario and sensitivity analysis with the intent to support investment activities.
- Update the financial models after each earnings roll-out or other similar corporate actions.
- Analyse and identify data required to support model tracking.
FUNCTIONAL SKILLS:
- Knowledge of basic accounting concepts and financial analyses techniques
- Excellent Excel skills including VBA, Macros etc.
- Ability to build a model that is easy to understand
- Problem Solving Attitude
- Proven Track record of preparing the Complex business models and project reports
QUALIFICATION:
- Qualified Chartered Accountant/Qualified Cost Accountant/MBA in Finance
EXPERIENCE: 15 - 25 Years
CERTIFICATIONS: ERP/IFRS

Working Terms:
- Sterling is a group of companies and as per the Nigeria Labour law, we have a limited quota for expats. As we are a multi-company group, we have a limited expat quota available to each company. Therefore, wherever the quota is available, accordingly we issue the appointment letter to the candidate on behalf of that company.
- Time-off Rotation will be 6 Month working and 21 Days off if posted in Lagos, 6 months ON 30 days OFF, if posted in Plant/Site. & subsequently followed by every 6 months once (with International & Domestic air ticket provided by the company)
- Workdays & Hours - Six and half day's work
- First salary will be released after 60 Days followed by the salary cycle (Ex: If you join in July, you will get first month salary in September then after that every month you will get regularly)
