Perfios - Senior Data Scientist

Primary Function:

- Collaborate closely with engineering and product teams to design and deliver data-driven solutions.

- Communicate and present complex analytical insights and technologies effectively to stakeholders across technical and non-technical teams.

- Drive end-to-end ML solution development from problem scoping, data preparation, and model development to production deployment, monitoring, and iterative improvement.

- Stay updated with the latest research trends in Deep Learning, Computer Vision, and NLP to bring innovative approaches to projects.

- Rapidly prototype, test, and evaluate new algorithms for business-critical use cases.

- Build robust evaluation pipelines for fine-tuning and deploying large-scale models, including text-only and multimodal SLMs.

- Ensure the scalability, reliability, and performance of deployed ML models in production systems.

Qualification & Competency:

- Advanced degrees (Masters or PhD) and research experience (e.g., publications in top-tier conferences/journals).

- 3-5 years of experience in building complete ML products; from the problem analysis and data selection to their production deployment. and monitoring for progressive enhancements and drifts from business impact.

- Theoretical knowledge and hands-on experience in deep learning/computer vision/NLP.

- Ability to rapidly prototype and evaluate algorithms..

- Experience on working with text only and multimodel SLMs will be a big plus. This involves finetuning and building robust eval pipelines. specific to use cases.

- Experience with deep learning frameworks such as Keras, PyTorch and TensorFlow.

- Good programming skills is a must, especially skills relevant to building robust ML models.

- Domain experience in Fintech is preferred, but not mandatory.

- Experience of publishing in top-tier conferences and journals will be considered a plus.
