Job Title: Payroll Manager

Location: Koramangala, Bangalore

Industry: Personal Care FMCG

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Payroll Manager to manage end-to-end payroll operations and ensure 100% statutory compliance for our workforce. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in payroll processing, statutory compliance, employee benefits administration, and stakeholder management within a fast-paced FMCG setup.


Key Responsibilities


Payroll Management


- Manage end-to-end payroll processing for all employees, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.

- Validate attendance, leave, overtime, incentive, and variable pay inputs.

- Handle full & final settlement of exited employees.

- Generate salary registers, payslips, and reconciliation reports.


Statutory Compliance


- Ensure compliance with all statutory requirements including PF, ESIC, Professional Tax, Income Tax (TDS), Bonus, Gratuity, LWF, and Shops & Establishment Act.

- Filing of monthly, quarterly, and annual statutory returns within deadlines.

- Maintain accurate records and documentation for audits.

- Stay updated on changes in payroll laws and regulations and implement them effectively.


Employee Support & Benefits


- Resolve employee queries related to payroll, tax, and benefits.

- Coordinate with HR and Finance teams for smooth payroll operations.

- Manage reimbursements, advances, loans, and deductions as per company policy.


System & Process Improvement


- Work with payroll software/ERP for automation and accuracy.

- Continuously review and improve payroll processes for efficiency and compliance.

- Coordinate with external consultants/vendors for compliance filings.


Key Requirements


- Graduate/Postgraduate in Commerce/Finance/HR; MBA/CA Inter/CS/ICWA preferred.

- 610 years of experience in payroll management in FMCG or manufacturing sector.

- Strong knowledge of PF, ESIC, PT, TDS, Gratuity, Bonus, and other statutory compliances.

- Hands-on experience with payroll software and MS Excel.

- Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle confidential data with integrity.
