Job Description:.

- We are looking for experienced and dynamic Deputy Store Manager to lead and manage the Stores function at our Sanand location.

- Ideal candidates should come with a background in engineering or machine-building industries and a strong track record in inventory and store operations.

Key Responsibilities:

- Oversee day-to-day store operations including receiving, storage, and issuance of materials and tools.

- Manage inventory control, stock audits, and material reconciliation processes.

- Maintain accurate records of incoming and outgoing materials using ERP system.

- Coordinate with Purchase, Production, and Quality departments to ensure timely availability of materials.

- Monitor stock levels and plan reordering to avoid shortages or overstocking.

- Implement and manage 5S, FIFO, and other inventory best practices.

- Ensure proper storage, tagging, and preservation of engineering materials, tools, and consumables.

- Preparation and verification of GRNs, MRNs, and issue slips as per SOP.

- Create and manage Bill of Materials (BOM) and material requirement planning.

- Monitor and ensure compliance with safety, audit, and statutory requirements in the stores.

- Lead and train store staff to ensure smooth workflow and continuous improvement.

Key Requirements:

- Strong knowledge of Store and Inventory Management, Engineering Stores, and BOM handling.

- Proficient in ERP systems (e.g , SAP, etc. ) and MS Excel.

- Prior experience in machine-building or engineering industry preferred.

- Excellent communication, leadership, and team management skills.

- Self-starter with strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.

- Capable of working independently and in cross-functional team.
