Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage all corporate secretarial functions, ensuring compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements.
- Draft, review, and manage legal documents, contracts, and agreements to safeguard the company's interests.
- Provide legal and compliance advice to internal stakeholders, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including HR, Finance, and Operations, to ensure regulatory compliance across the organization.
- Monitor and interpret new and emerging legislation, assessing its impact on the company.
- Maintain and update corporate records, including board resolutions, minutes, and statutory registers.
- Coordinate with external legal advisors, auditors, and regulatory authorities as required.
- Conduct compliance audits, risk assessments, and internal investigations to ensure adherence to legal standards.
- Develop and implement compliance training programs to promote a culture of ethical conduct and compliance awareness.
- Stay updated with the latest compliance trends, legal regulations, and best practices.
