About the Role:

- You'll own the companys controllership, drive financial operations at scale, and partner with founders and functional heads to build a future-ready finance function.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead monthly and annual book closure and financial statement preparation

- Own end-to-end statutory compliance: Income Tax, GST, TDS, and Companies Act

- Manage statutory, internal, and investor audits end-to-end

Reporting & Analysis:

- Own budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis

- Create dashboards and reports for founders, the board, and investors

- Deliver insights to support strategic business decisions

Processes & Controls:

- Implement robust financial controls and accounting processes

- Identify automation opportunities to streamline finance operations

- Ensure data integrity and help us build automation in finance

Stakeholder Management:

- Collaborate with auditors, bankers, legal advisors, and investors

- Partner with business leaders to drive cost efficiency and financial planning

Tax & Regulatory Filings:

- Ensure timely, accurate filings for all regulatory requirements

- Monitor evolving regulations and proactively ensure compliance

Team Management:

- Lead, mentor, and grow the finance & accounts team

- Work cross-functionally with HR, Legal, and senior leadership

Skills we are looking for:

- Proven track record in audits, compliance, controllership, and reporting

- Hands-on experience with financial tools like Zoho, Tally, NetSuite, or SAP

- Deep understanding of Indian GAAP/Ind-AS and regulatory norms

- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills

- Prior experience in startups or high-growth companies (Series A/B+) is a strong plus

(Exposure to due diligence for fundraising)
