Job Description: Operations Manager

Position: Operations Manager

Experience: 15-20 years

Preferred Qualification: Engineering Degree + MBA (added advantage)

Age Limit: Not more than 50 years

Preferred Location Experience: Africa (preferred)

Key Requirements:

Diverse Manufacturing Exposure:

- Must have worked in 3-4 different manufacturing sectors (e.g., FMCG, Automotive, Chemicals, Pharmaceuticals, etc.).

Lean & Continuous Improvement:

- Strong hands-on experience in Lean Manufacturing, Kaizen implementation, and process optimization.

Greenfield Project Execution:

- Proven track record in Greenfield/Brownfield project setup, commissioning, and operationalization.

Factory Operations & P&L Management:

- Minimum 5 years of experience managing Profit & Loss (P&L) for a manufacturing unit.

- Strong expertise in factory operations, production efficiency, and cost control.

Technical + Management + Financial Acumen:

- Well-rounded experience in technical operations, general management, and financial oversight.

- Ability to lead cross-functional teams and drive business growth.

Desired Skills & Competencies:

- Strategic thinking with strong execution capabilities.

- Excellent leadership and stakeholder management skills.

- Problem-solving mindset with a focus on operational excellence.

- Adaptability to work in multicultural environments (Africa experience preferred).
