Role Overview:

We are looking for an Offline Device Manager to own end-to-end execution of our offline payment device operations. This includes procurement, vendor management, industry benchmarking, collaboration on device design, and ensuring on-ground execution aligned with business needs. You will play a vital role in ensuring our merchants receive seamless, cost-effective, and future-ready devices.

Key Responsibilities:

Procurement & Vendor Management:

- Lead sourcing and procurement of offline devices (POS machines, soundboxes, biometric pads, etc.) used by MobiKwiks merchant partners.

- Build vendor pipeline, manage pricing negotiations, procurement contracts, and SLA tracking.

- Ensure timely inventory availability and quality assurance.

Industry Benchmarking & Cost Optimization:

- Analyze latest fintech hardware trends and competitor benchmarking.

- Recommend enhancements in device capabilities (e.g., NFC, dynamic QR, UPI-ready POS, biometric KYC) aligned with market evolution.

- Continuously evaluate cost structures to reduce per-device expenditure.

Product Design & Customization:

- Partner with product and tech teams to co-define device specifications and user experience flows.

- Contribute to hardware-software integration (e.g., device firmware, app compatibility).

- Provide feedback based on merchant usage patterns and operational constraints.

Cross-functional Stakeholder Management:

- Liaise between internal teams including product, design, operations, sales, and finance to ensure devices support business objectives.

- Serve as the operational point of contact for resolving device-related escalations and rollout dependencies.

Process, Logistics & Documentation:

- Track device lifecycle from procurement to merchant deployment and servicing.

- Own documentation vendor SLAs, productproduct specs, contracts, and inventory audits.

Key Requirements:

- 9+ years of experience in device procurement, fintech hardware ops, or merchant-side operations

- Strong exposure to POS, QR, biometric devices, and other fintech hardware

- Proven ability to manage vendors, negotiate costs, and align delivery with go-to-market timelines
