Role Overview:
We are seeking a seasoned professional to lead our Employee Relations and Industrial Relations initiatives. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in labour laws, conflict resolution, and employee engagement, with proven experience in managing union relationships and fostering a positive workplace culture.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement ER & IR strategies aligned with organizational goals.
- Manage employee grievances, disciplinary actions, and conflict resolution processes.
- Ensure compliance with labour laws, statutory requirements, and company policies.
- Liaise with union representatives and government bodies on labour-related matters.
- Conduct investigations into workplace complaints and recommend appropriate actions.
- Maintain accurate documentation and reports related to ER & IR activities.
Qualifications:
- Master's degree in human resources, Industrial Relations, or related field.
- 5-10 years of experience in ER & IR roles, preferably in a unionized environment.
- Strong knowledge of labour laws, employment regulations, and dispute resolution.
- Good communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
