About the Role:
We are seeking a highly motivated and results-oriented Company Secretary to join our expanding team in Chakan, Pune, India.
This is a critical role that will ensure the seamless and efficient operation of our Indian entity.

Key Responsibilities:
Secretarial Functions:
- Organize and manage board meetings, including the meticulous preparation and distribution of agendas, minutes, and resolutions.
- Ensure strict compliance with all applicable statutory and regulatory requirements pertaining to company law in India.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date statutory records, including the register of directors, shareholders, and charges.
- Handle all statutory filings with relevant authorities, such as the Registrar of Companies (ROC) and the Ministry of Corporate Affairs (MCA), ensuring timely and accurate submissions.
- Provide expert advice to management on corporate governance matters, promoting and ensuring adherence to best practices.
Legal and Compliance:
- Provide comprehensive legal and secretarial support to the management team on a wide range of legal and compliance matters.
- Proactively monitor and interpret changes in relevant legislation and regulations, keeping the company informed and compliant.
- Assist in the drafting, review, and negotiation of legal documents, including contracts and agreements.
- Ensure full compliance with all applicable labor laws and regulations.
Administrative Support:
- Manage and maintain company records and documents with utmost confidentiality and accuracy.
- Provide general administrative support as required, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability.
Qualifications & Experience:
Essential:
- Women Candidates Preferred: We are actively seeking qualified women candidates for this role.
- Qualified Company Secretary (CS Qualified) from the Institute of Company Secretaries of India (ICSI).
- Alternatively, a Bachelor's Degree in Law (LL.) or a Post Graduate Diploma in Secretarial Practice (PGDCP) from a recognized university in India.
- A minimum of 5-8 years of proven experience as a Company Secretary in a corporate environment.
- In-depth and comprehensive knowledge of Indian Corporate Laws and other relevant regulations.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to effectively prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills, enabling effective collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.
- Strong attention to detail, and a high level of integrity.
Preferred:
- Experience working in a multinational company.
- Experience with international compliance and regulatory frameworks.
- Familiarity with the construction or engineering industry
