Major Duties / Key Responsibilities:
- Act as a subject matter expert for the team.
- Execute projects with high level of quality and accuracy.
- Effectively facilitate the fulfilment of all assigned project tasks and deliverables in accordance with the expectations.
- Act as a primary point of escalation for any issues related to project/work stream.
- Ensure that knowledge gaps are identified within the team and the necessary trainings are delivered.
- Should be able to handle critical queries/issues and escalate on a timely manner.
- Respond quickly and accurately to queries which are highly time sensitive.
- Develop action plans for resolution of outstanding issues.
- Work constructively with all parties involved in the project and take prompt action to identify and resolve any conflicting situations.
- Keep all key parties aware of the status and any changes to timelines & scope of the project deliverables.
- Throughout the project lifecycle, proactively communicate detailed tasks and activities with timeframes, and any identified dependencies, assumptions, issues and risks to the Manager/Work Stream Lead.
- Prepare and update SOP, training material, checklists, trackers, etc.
- Conduct/ lead training for existing and new team members.
- Should have the ability to maintain various MIS reports and should ensure timely completion of all the MIS and other ad-hoc reports to be submitted to management.
- Understand and minimize risks associated with the process.
- Ability to work on ad-hoc activities.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors or Masters degree with emphasis in Finance and Accounting, CA/CPA/CMA/CFA is an added advantage.
- Minimum 6-8 years of work experience in financial industry, with at least 6 years in Fund Accounting/Administration.
- Experience in Mutual Funds, Hedge Funds or Financial Services strongly preferred.
- Knowledge of accounting principles and procedures, familiarity with financial markets and instruments.
- Should be flexible for shifts and extended working hours as per business requirements.
- Night Shift : 8.30 PM IST.
