Job Description:
- As a Business Development Manager at NNIIT, you will focus on providing academic counselling and driving enrolments for our Ed-tech solutions in the K9 and K12 education segments.
- This role leverages your teaching expertise in Mathematics and Physics to guide students and parents toward making informed decisions.
- The position requires daily face-to-face client engagements and multiple sessions on weekends to maximize impact and conversions.
Responsibilities:
Academic Counselling and Client Engagement:
- Conduct a minimum of one face-to-face session daily, with multiple sessions during weekends.
- Counsel students and parents in Mathematics and Physics, offering tailored advice based on academic needs.
- Understand client challenges and recommend suitable academic courses and solutions from NNIIT.
Sales and Lead Conversion:
- Engage directly with leads via phone, WhatsApp, and in-person meetings to assess their requirements and close deals.
- Drive enrolment by presenting the value of NNIIT's programs in an impactful and relatable manner.
- Maintain a consistent follow-up strategy to ensure a high conversion rate.
Relationship Management:
- Build strong relationships with clients to foster loyalty and satisfaction.
- Address client concerns promptly and ensure smooth onboarding for enrolled students.
- Leverage insights from sessions to improve the counselling approach and sales outcomes.
Subject Expertise and Academic Contributions:
- Use your teaching background to connect with students on an academic level, showcasing the relevance of the courses in competitive exams like JEE/NEET.
- Deliver trial or demonstration classes (if required) to highlight NNIIT's academic excellence.
Performance Tracking and Reporting:
- Achieve and exceed monthly sales and counselling targets.
- Maintain accurate client interaction records through CRM tools.
- Report on sales performance, client feedback, and market trends to senior management.
Requirements:
Educational Background:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mathematics, Physics, Education, or a related field.
- Teaching certifications or experience in JEE/NEET-level subjects is highly desirable.
Work Experience:
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in teaching or academic counselling, with a preference for those with prior sales experience in the Ed-tech industry.
Skillset:
- Expertise in Mathematics and Physics concepts, particularly for competitive exams.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to connect with students and parents effectively.
- Proven ability to achieve sales targets through a consultative approach.
- Proficiency in CRM tools and tracking systems.
