Job Summary:

- The Director of Academics will oversee the development, implementation, and evaluation of academic programs aimed at preparing students for JEE and NEET examinations.


- This role requires a scientifically-minded leader who applies evidence-based strategies to enhance curriculum design, faculty performance, and student outcomes.


- The Director will foster an environment of academic rigor, critical thinking, and data-driven decision-making to ensure students excel in these highly competitive science-based exams.

Key Responsibilities:

Curriculum Design and Optimization:

- Develop and refine a science-focused curriculum for Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics (JEE), and Biology (NEET), aligned with the latest exam patterns and syllabi (e.g., NCERT, CBSE).

- Incorporate scientifically proven learning methodologies, such as spaced repetition, conceptual mapping, and problem-solving frameworks, to maximize comprehension and retention.

- Regularly update content based on analysis of exam trends and student performance data.

Faculty Recruitment and Development:

- Hire and train subject matter experts (e.g., Physics, Chemistry, Math/Biology faculty) with a strong understanding of JEE/NEET requirements.

- Implement professional development programs emphasizing innovative teaching techniques, such as inquiry-based learning and experimental problem-solving.

- Evaluate faculty performance through student feedback, test results, and classroom observations.

Student Performance Analysis:

- Design and oversee diagnostic assessments to identify individual student strengths and weaknesses in scientific concepts (e.g., mechanics, organic chemistry, calculus).

- Use data analytics to track progress, predict outcomes, and recommend personalized study plans.

- Collaborate with counselors to address academic and psychological barriers to success.

Academic Strategy and Innovation:

- Formulate evidence-based strategies to improve pass rates and rankings in JEE/NEET, such as integrating mock tests under exam-like conditions.

- Introduce technology-driven tools (e.g., AI-based question banks, virtual labs) to enhance learning efficiency.

- Stay updated on educational research and exam reforms to maintain a competitive edge.

Quality Assurance and Standards:

- Ensure all academic materials and teaching practices meet high scientific and pedagogical standards.

- Conduct regular reviews of test series, study modules, and faculty delivery to maintain consistency and effectiveness.

- Prepare reports on academic performance for stakeholders, including management and parents.

Collaboration and Leadership:

- Work with the administrative team to allocate resources (e.g., study materials, lab facilities) effectively.

- Lead workshops and seminars for students and parents on scientific approaches to exam preparation.

- Represent the institution at educational conferences or competitive exam forums.

Qualifications:

Education: Master's degree or higher in a scientific discipline (Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, Biology) or Education; Ph.D. preferred.

Experience:

- 7+ years in academic leadership, preferably in JEE/NEET coaching or secondary/higher education.

- Proven track record of improving student performance in competitive exams.

- Office-based with visits to classrooms, labs, or testing centers as needed.


- Deep understanding of JEE/NEET syllabi, question patterns, and scoring systems.
