Senior Manager - Sales
Key Responsibilities:
Sales Leadership & Strategy:
- Take full ownership of the sales development cycle, including business research, needs assessment, client introduction, and online product demonstrations.
- Define and implement effective sales strategies to achieve organizational revenue goals.
- Drive lead generation through inbound/outbound channels, strategic networking, and industry partnerships.
Team Management & Development:
- Provide coaching, training, and regular performance reviews to ensure continuous improvement.
- Assign, track, and monitor team tasks to ensure timely follow-up and closure of opportunities.
Pipeline & Business Development:
- Actively build, monitor, and manage the sales pipeline using CRM tools, ensuring data accuracy and actionable insights.
- Maintain and expand a strong database of qualified prospects to support ongoing business growth.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design tailored logistics solutions aligned with customer needs.
Client Relationship Management:
- Establish, nurture, and sustain long-term relationships with key clients and stakeholders.
- Lead high-value product demonstrations and provide support to team members in critical opportunities.
- Ensure customer satisfaction and retention by understanding evolving business requirements.
Performance & Reporting:
- Ensure achievement of team sales targets, revenue KPIs, and business objectives within defined timelines.
- Provide regular business performance updates and actionable insights to senior leadership.
- Drive continuous improvement through data-driven decision-making and market feedback.
Requirements:
- MBA or equivalent degree preferred.
- 8+ years of experience in sales/business development with at least 3 years in a leadership role, preferably in the logistics and supply chain sector.
- Strong track record of achieving and exceeding revenue targets.
- Expertise in sales processes, CRM systems, and pipeline management.
- Exceptional leadership, communication, and coaching skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, strategize effectively, and influence business outcomes.
