Job Summary

We are seeking a proactive and driven Government Sales Manager with over 8 years of experience in selling computer hardware solutions. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of success in selling servers, workstations, storage, and HPC Clusters to government, educational, and research organizations. This role requires a strategic thinker with a strong focus on building and maintaining key client relationships, expanding existing accounts, and managing all facets of the sales cycle from lead generation to contract negotiation.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Sales & Lead Generation: Develop and execute strategic sales goals. You will be responsible for qualifying leads and creating target lists of enterprise and data center accounts within the government and public sector.

Client Relationship Management: Actively seek out and engage with potential customers through cold calling and targeted follow-up visits. You will be instrumental in developing new customer relationships and maintaining and expanding existing client accounts to ensure long-term retention and growth.

Sales Operations & Negotiation: Manage all day-to-day sales operations, including negotiating sales pricing, monitoring orders, facilitating credit issues, and handling sales returns.

Market Engagement: Participate in various marketing activities, such as trade shows, to generate new leads and strategically position Netweb Technologies' products and services in the market.

Documentation & Reporting: Meticulously track all sales activities and opportunities to ensure a robust pipeline and provide regular reports to management.

Required Skills & Qualifications

- 8+ years of experience in selling computer hardware solutions, including servers, workstations, storage, and HPC Clusters.

- A successful track record of cold calling and following up with key decision-makers.

- Strong team player with prior experience selling technology into corporate or government accounts.

- Demonstrated ability in pre-call planning, opportunity qualification, objection handling, and time and territory management.

- Strong persuasive and negotiating skills with the ability to manage various types of contracts.

- Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills.

- The ability to adapt to a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks proactively.
