National Sales Manager - Salon Product Business


Job Description:


- We are looking for a dynamic and results-driven National Sales Manager to lead our Salon Product Business Vertical across India.


- This role involves building and managing a pan India sales team, driving business growth, and achieving a monthly sales target of INR 1 Cr, which will evolve with the companys expansion plans.


- Skincare products namely Cleansers, Peels, toner, Massage cream, Modelling masks.


The ideal candidate should have:


- A proven track record in salon sales management with a deep understanding of market dynamics.


- A strong network of 1500+ salons with established relationships.


- Experience in generating at least INR 50+ lakhs in monthly revenue in their current role.


- Strong upselling and new client acquisition skills for products ranging between INR 3K to 25K.


- The Salon Business Sales Manager is responsible for driving sales growth, developing team, managing relationships with salon partners, and ensuring smooth operations of the salon business segment.


- They will lead sales teams, develop strategic partnerships, and implement sales strategies to meet revenue targets while ensuring excellent customer satisfaction.


- Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.


- Identify new business opportunities, salon chains, and individual salon partners.


- Drive upselling and cross-selling of products and services to salon clients.


- Monitor market trends and competitor activities to stay ahead in the market.


- Build and maintain strong relationships with key salon owners, managers, and decision-makers.


- Conduct regular meetings, visits, and presentations with salon partners.


- Address and resolve client queries, concerns, and service issues promptly.


- Lead, mentor, and motivate a team of sales executives/business development executives.


- Set clear targets and KPIs for the sales team and regularly review performance.


- Provide training and development programs to enhance the teams product knowledge and sales skills.


- Expand the salon network by onboarding new salons in targeted regions.


- Negotiate commercial terms and close contracts with new and existing clients.


- Collaborate with the marketing team to execute promotional campaigns and initiatives.


- Prepare and present detailed sales reports, forecasts, and market analysis to senior management.


- Monitor key metrics like revenue, client retention, and market share.


- Suggest improvements based on data-driven insights.


- Coordinate with logistics, supply chain, and finance departments to ensure timely product deliveries and payment collections.


- Ensure all salons receive the necessary product training, merchandising support, and promotional material.


Meeting New salon chain for Sales Pitches:


- New acquisitions: Understand each doctor's specialty, needs, and preferences before the meeting.


- Value Proposition: Clearly communicate the benefits and unique selling points of each products.


Preparing Weekly and Monthly Calendars:


- Organize Efficiently: Use a digital calendar or CRM system to schedule and track appointments.


- Prioritize: Focus on high-potential doctors and ensure follow-ups with those who show interest.


- Flexible Scheduling: Be prepared to adjust schedules to accommodate doctors' busy timelines.


- Proven sales and business development experience, preferably in salon, beauty, FMCG, or related industries.


- Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.


- Leadership abilities with experience in team management.


- Knowledge of salon operations and beauty industry trends.


- Target-driven, analytical, and strategic thinker. MBA preferred. Understanding CRM.


- Data Management: Keep accurate records of all interactions, preferences, and purchase history.


- Customer Segmentation: Use CRM to segment doctors based on various criteria for targeted marketing.


- Analytics: Utilize CRM analytics to track sales performance, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions.
