About the Role
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced National Sales Manager to lead our Generic Pharma Business across India. Based in Mumbai, you will drive national-level sales, manage product launches, and oversee distribution and stockist networks, ensuring robust revenue growth and operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the Generic Pharma business across India, ensuring achievement of sales and collection targets (monthly and cumulative).
- Identify opportunities and strategically launch new generic products in alignment with market demand.
- Build and maintain an efficient distribution network, including appointment of stockists in all states and ensuring timely payment collections.
- Oversee customer stock, distributor operations, and ensure availability of products across all regions and headquarters.
- Monitor sales performance and implement corrective actions to ensure targets are met.
- Provide leadership and guidance to the sales team, driving performance and growth.
- Collaborate closely with supply chain and logistics teams to ensure effective and timely product delivery.
Required Candidate Profile
Educational Qualification: B. Pharma / M. Pharma / MBA or a degree in Pharmacy.
Experience:
- 20-25 years of experience in Pharma Sales.
Minimum 10+ years of experience in managing Generic Pharma Business at a National Level for a reputed pharmaceutical company.
Proven track record in:
- Launching new products in the generic segment.
- Appointment and management of stockists and distributors.
- Efficient payment collection and distribution management.
- Pan-India coordination to ensure availability of products across all regions.
