National Business Development Manager
Job Description:
The National Business Development Manager is a senior, strategic role focused on identifying, developing, and securing new business opportunities on a national scale.
This role involves creating partnerships, exploring new markets, and building a robust pipeline of potential clients and business ventures.
The manager works across different verticals and is responsible for setting the direction for nationwide business growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Strategic Partnerships: Identify and forge strategic alliances and partnerships with large corporations, institutions, and national bodies.
- Market Expansion: Explore and penetrate new markets and business segments to expand the company's footprint.
- Pipeline Management: Build and manage a strong pipeline of new business opportunities and corporate clients.
- Sales Strategy: Develop and execute national-level business development plans and strategies.
- Proposal Development: Lead the creation of compelling business proposals, presentations, and pitches to potential clients.
- Relationship Building: Cultivate and maintain relationships with key stakeholders at the C-suite level.
- Industry Analysis: Stay informed of industry trends, competitor activities, and macroeconomic factors impacting the business.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with sales, marketing, and product teams to ensure new business ventures are successfully launched.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Economics, or a related field.
- An MBA is highly preferred.
- Minimum of 10-15 years of experience in business development, corporate sales, or a similar strategic role.
- Proven track record of closing large-scale business deals and building national partnerships.
- Exceptional negotiation, communication, and strategic thinking skills.
- Strong network and ability to build relationships at all levels
