About Nation with NaMo:

When you picture yourself at the growth of your career, what comes to your mind? A cubicle? A 9-to-5 job? Building Excel models to structure financial products? Hustling to launch a product in a new city? Pitching your business idea to potential investors? Working as part of a larger software team on a subset of a project? Researching legal positions and advising clients?

We are confident that most likely you will end up doing these things as part of a reputed organisation, working with good people in a steady job. And there is absolutely nothing wrong with that. If this aligns with your career aspirations, we wish you the best in your career.

However, if this is not quite enough for you, imagine this: Analysing the behaviour of the largest demographic in India, designing, leading and executing impactful campaigns that not only persuade but also inspire for years by shaping public opinion in your career path. Seeing the tangible impact of your work on real people, solving real problems.

About the role:

We are seeking an experienced Learning and Development (L&D) Manager to lead our organisational learning vertical and drive capability building across diverse functions. This role is central to shaping how our employees learn, grow, and contribute to high-impact consulting projects.

The L&D Manager will partner with leadership, project teams, and faculty to design and deliver training programs that strengthen both core consulting skills (problem-solving, communication, leadership) and specialist expertise (analytics, technology, political strategy, communications).

Key Responsibilities

Strategy & Program Design

- Develop and execute a comprehensive learning strategy aligned with organisational priorities and project requirements.

- Translate role-specific skill needs (generalists, communications, analytics, technology, leadership roles) into structured training programs and bootcamps.

- Build and maintain an annual learning calendar, including onboarding, quarterly evaluations, leadership training, and project-specific interventions.

Learning Solutions Development

- Design, curate, and deliver multi-modal learning programs - workshops, bootcamps, e-learning modules, simulations, peer-learning formats.

- Oversee content production: decks, videos, case studies, role plays, LMS modules.

- Leverage interactive learning methods (breakouts, sprints, hackathons, cross-functional projects) to ensure high engagement.

Implementation & Operations

- Manage the Learning Management System (LMS): content onboarding, usage monitoring, feedback collection.

- Coordinate with internal faculty, external experts, and vendors to ensure timely delivery of programs.

- Drive adoption of learning interventions through engagement mechanisms (leaderboards, habit trackers, gamification, performance review process integration).

- Oversee assessments: Design rubrics, manage evaluation processes, ensure feedback loops to managers and Professional Development Managers.

Measurement & Impact

- Track and analyse learning outcomes (completion rates, skill gains, performance impact) at both individual and organisational levels.

- Conduct post-program reviews and incorporate feedback for continuous improvement.

- Align learning outcomes with performance review processes and capability mapping.

Leadership & Team Management

- Build and lead a team of L&D specialists, trainers, and coordinators.

- Partner with managers and directors to support career development and leadership pipeline development.

- Represent the learning function in organisational forums and ensure strong stakeholder management.

Requirements

- Proven experience (5-8 years) as an L&D Manager / Training Manager / Organisational Development Manager or similar role, ideally in a consulting, analytics, or fast-paced knowledge-driven organisation.

- Strong track record in designing and delivering multi-format training programs (bootcamps, e-learning, workshops).

- Familiarity with consulting, analytics, or communications domains is a strong plus.

- Experience in project management, stakeholder management, and vendor negotiations.

- Proficiency in Google Suite, LMS platforms, and e-learning design tools.

- Excellent communication, facilitation, and negotiation skills; ability to influence across levels.

- Strong business acumen and ability to link learning outcomes to organisational success.

Educational background:

BSc/BA in Business, Psychology, Education, or related field.

MBA is required.

Professional certification (e.g., CPLP, SHRM-CP, ATD) is an advantage.

Why Join Us?

Opportunity to shape a cutting-edge learning ecosystem in one of India's most data-driven political consulting firms.

Work at the intersection of consulting, analytics, communications, and leadership development.
