Job Title: Corporate Head of Human Resource
Location: Corporate Office (Madhapur, Hyderabad)
Report to: Chairman and Managing Director
Role Overview:
The Corporate - Head HR, is the custodian of HR strategy, compliance, and people development for MVS ACMEI across Corporate Office and all divisions. This role ensures statutory compliance, talent development, workforce productivity, and a culture of performance, aligning HR priorities with the CMD's vision and business objectives
Key Responsibilities:
1. Group HR Leadership
- Lead the HR function across all business divisions and corporate office.
- Define and implement HR strategy, policies, and systems aligned with group goals.
- Act as trusted advisor to CMD and Business Heads on people, compliance, and workforce matters.
2. Compliance and Governance
- Ensure 100% statutory compliance across all units (PF, ESI, CLRA, Factories Act, Shops and Establishments, PT, LWF, etc.).
- Drive contract labor compliance for IPS Steel and Metal and Condition Monitoring operations at client
sites (JSW, TATA, AMNS, SAIL, etc.).
- Conduct HR audits and maintain a central compliance dashboard.
3. Workforce Planning and Recruitment
- Approve annual manpower plans and budgets for all units.
- Oversee recruitment for permanent, contractual, and project based roles.
- Manage large scale site manpower deployment (packing operations, site HR at JSW, TATA, etc.).
4. Performance and Development
- Lead the Performance Management System (PMS) based on Balanced Scorecard/OKR-KRA framework.
- Drive capability building, skill development, and annual training calendar across divisions.
- Identify high potential employees and prepare succession plans.
5. Employee Relations and Engagement
- Ensure effective grievance redressal and discipline mechanisms at factories and client sites.
- Drive employee welfare and engagement initiatives (health, safety, community programs).
- Build positive work culture, handle industrial relations, and maintain contractor harmony.
6. HR Operations and Payroll
- Oversee payroll and HR operations for 100% accuracy.
- Ensure timely statutory filings (monthly, half yearly, annual returns).
- Lead digitization of HR processes (HRMS/HRIS).
Key Deliverables / KPIs
- Zero non-compliance across all locations.
- On-time recruitment and deployment against manpower plan.
- 100% implementation of PMS across group.
- Attrition < target % (as agreed with CMD).
- 85%+ training plan completion.
- Employee engagement index improvement year on year.
- Successful HR audits in all plants and sites.
Qualifications and Experience:
- MBA / Masters in HR.
- 15-20 years of experience in HR, with at least 3-5 years in leadership roles.
- Proven track record in handling multi location industrial HR setups and service industry.
- Strong expertise in Indian labor laws, compliance, and contract labor management.
