Responsibilities:
Sales Strategy & Leadership:
- Develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy for Structural Steel to achieve company revenue and growth targets.
- Primary sales to Corporates, OEMs and for Exports.
- Lead, mentor, and motivate a high-performing sales team, to achieve business expectations.
- Work closely with the executive team to align sales objectives with broader business goals and corporate vision.
Client Relationship Management:
- Build and maintain long-term relationships with key corporate clients in steel industry, and also large construction companies, real estate developers, and public sector projects.
- Identify new business opportunities and maintain relationships with existing clients to drive repeat business and expand market penetration.
- Negotiate and close large-scale sales contracts with top-tier clients, ensuring profitability and long -term partnerships.
Collaboration with Internal Stakeholders:
- Collaborate with marketing, production, and quality teams to ensure a seamless end-toend customer experience.
- Provide input into product pricing strategies and promotional efforts to maximize revenue and market share.
- Act as a liaison between the corporate sales team and senior management, ensuring alignment of strategies and goals.
Market & Product Knowledge:
- In-depth technical knowledge of Structural Steel and associated products
- Stay informed about market trends, competitor activity, and new opportunities within the steel and construction industry.
- Collaborate with product development teams to ensure the company's offerings meet client requirements and are competitive in the market.
- Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and trade shows to enhance the companys brand presence.
Financial & Operational Excellence:
- Develop and manage annual sales budgets and forecasts for corporate sales.
- Monitor the sales pipeline, manage lead generation, and optimize conversion rates to ensure sales targets are met.
- Work closely with finance and supply chain teams to ensure smooth order fulfillment and timely delivery to clients.
Team Management & Development:
- Provide regular performance reviews, coaching, and feedback to team members.
- Foster a high-performance sales culture through goal-setting, professional development, and empowerment.
Experience: 15 plus years of experience in Corporate Sales for Structural Steel.
Qualification: Graduation/ Post Graduation in Sales & Marketing.
