Key Responsibilities:
- New Business Acquisition: Proactively identify and approach potential clients, generating new business opportunities in air and ocean freight.
- Sales Strategy Development: Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve and exceed revenue targets.
- Market Expansion: Research market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to identify potential growth areas.
- Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing customers to ensure long-term partnerships.
- Sales Negotiation & Closing: Develop proposals, negotiate contracts, and finalize deals to secure new business.
- Collaboration & Coordination: Work closely with internal teams such as operations, pricing, and customer service to ensure smooth execution of business commitments.
- Sales Reporting & Forecasting: Maintain accurate sales records, provide performance reports, and contribute to strategic planning.
- Networking & Industry Events: Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and client meetings to enhance brand visibility and generate leads.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's/Master's degree in Business, Marketing, Supply Chain, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in business development or sales within the freight forwarding/logistics industry.
- Proven track record of acquiring new business and meeting sales targets.
- Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Self-motivated and results-driven with a strong ability to work independently.
- Proficiency in CRM tools and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Willingness to travel as required.
