- We're hiring a Finance Analyst I to join our Finance Shared Services team.

- This role is perfect for a detail-oriented professional with a strong foundation in financial accounting.

- You'll be responsible for a wide range of tasks, from managing general ledger accounts to assisting with the financial close.

- The ideal candidate has at least 2 years of experience in a similar shared service or BPO environment and is a quick learner.

Key Responsibilities:

- Financial Accounting & Reporting: You'll handle all financial accounting activities for specific legal entities.

- This includes maintaining general ledger accounts, preparing necessary journal entries, and reconciling accounts.

- You will be a key participant in the monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closing processes.

- Inter-departmental Coordination: You will interface with other teams such as Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and Tax to ensure that all financial records are complete and accurate.

- You will also manage inter-company activities and prepare invoices as needed.

- Analysis & Compliance: You'll assist with various special projects, including ad-hoc reporting and financial analysis.

- You must ensure a clear audit trail for all activities, which can be provided upon request.

- Knowledge Sharing: You will actively participate in cross-training to learn other finance functions, enabling you to provide backup support for colleagues when they are out of the office.

Skills:

- Accounting Knowledge: Thorough knowledge of basic general ledger accounting procedures and a high level of accuracy in preparing and entering financial information.

- ERP Systems: Hands-on experience with General Ledger (GL) Transaction Processing in Oracle or an equivalent ERP system for at least six months.

- Analytical: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to assist with financial analysis and reporting.

- Collaboration: The ability to effectively coordinate with various internal teams and stakeholders.

Experience & Education:

Experience: A minimum of 2 years of work experience in an MNC (multinational corporation), specifically in a BPO or Shared Service Center setting.
