Job Summary:
- Reliance Telecom is looking for an experienced and driven Mobility Sales Lead (Area Sales Manager) to spearhead sales operations for our mobility products and services within a designated area.
- This role demands strong telecom distribution expertise, proven experience in team management, and a deep understanding of the mobility market.
- You will be responsible for driving revenue growth, managing channel partners, leading a sales team, and ensuring flawless execution of sales strategies on the ground.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the mobility sales operations for the assigned territory.
- Build, develop, and nurture a high-performing sales team, including field sales executives and support staff.
- Manage and expand the distribution network (distributors, retailers, DSA partners) to ensure strong market penetration.
- Drive primary and secondary sales, ensuring achievement of monthly, quarterly, and annual targets.
- Implement sales initiatives and promotional campaigns to enhance channel engagement and increase market share.
- Analyze market trends, customer insights, and competitor activities to create actionable strategies.
- Conduct regular reviews with the team and channel partners to ensure alignment with business goals.
- Ensure compliance with commercial policies, pricing structures, and operational guidelines.
Candidate Requirements:
- 5-7 years of relevant experience in telecom or mobility sales with a strong focus on distribution management and team leadership.
- Prior experience in a similar role with mobility product lines (prepaid/postpaid, devices, SIM, recharge) is highly preferred.
- Strong leadership and people management skills with the ability to drive results through a field sales team.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
- Strong understanding of both urban and rural telecom market dynamics.
