Job Description: SCM (Logistics)

Job Objective:

- This role is responsible for optimizing global logistics, ensuring regulatory compliance, and leveraging analytics to enhance efficiency and cost-effectiveness.

Strategic Logistics & Supply Chain Planning:

- Develop and implement logistics strategies aligned with global business goals.

- Optimize import/export operations to minimize costs and enhance efficiency.

- Strengthen supply chain resilience by analyzing risks and developing contingency plans.

- Integrate data analytics and Al-driven solutions to improve logistics performance.

Import & Export Operations Management:

- Ensure compliance with international trade laws, customs regulations, and INCOTERMS.

- Manage import/export documentation, trade agreements, and tariff structures.

- Coordinate with freight forwarders, customs brokers, and regulatory agencies.

- Optimize ocean freight, air cargo, and cross-border transportation for cost efficiency.

- Handle duty drawback claims, EOU, free trade agreements (FTAs), and HS code classifications.

Market Intelligence & Competitive Analysis:

- Monitor industry trends, global trade policies, and competitor logistics strategies.

- Analyze market fluctuations in freight rates, fuel costs, and supply chain disruptions.

- Identify opportunities for cost-saving and new trade routes.

Data Analytics & Performance Management:

- Develop KPI dashboards to track logistics performance (cost per shipment, OTIF,4mzenty-t.ur.noszer-, transit time, etc.).

- Utilize predictive analytics for demand forecasting and planning. Leverage data-driven insights to optimize routing, warehousing, and inventory levels.

Process Improvement & Digital Transformation:

- Implement automation, Al-driven logistics, and ERP solutions for efficiency.

- Drive continuous improvement initiatives

- Work with cross-functional teams (procurement, finance, compliance) for seamless supply chain integration.

Vendor & Stakeholder Management:

- Negotiate and manage contracts with freight forwarders, carriers Ensure compliance with international logistics policies and sustainability initiatives.

- Build strong relationships with government agencies, customs officials, and trade partners.

- Supplier and Vendor Relations.

Knowledge and Skills Required:

- Strong Knowledge of import/export regulations, trade compliance and custom processes.

- Experience in handling global freight, international shipping, and supplier negotiations.

- Proficiency in ERP and Excel.

- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Strong problem-solving, decision-making, and leadership abilities.

- Ability to work in a fast-paced, global business environment.

- Excellent communication and negotiation skills for international trade.

Qualification:

PG: MBA/PGDM and Diploma in Supply Chain Management

10 years in same role.
